In this class you will learn how to make your own cording. Please bring a stitched canvas under 5” (can be round/oval/square/rectangle) for us to work with when we make your cording. You will learn cording tips and tricks to make your own cording process easier at home while self-finishing. We will be providing two DMC 5 skeins for you to make your cording with. Two skeins will make up to 3 sets of cording. There will likely be time to make multiple sets of cording for other finishing projects. We will provide cording supplies to work with. You will also learn how to pin the cording onto cookies for self-finishing.
The second part of the class is how to add beading to an existing finished needlepoint piece. We love these techniques because you can go back and add beads to finishes you already have in your collection. It’s a quick makeover for ornaments that need additional sparkle! Please bring a finished needlepoint ornament under 5”. You will learn how to embellish and add beads around the existing cording.

What you need to bring:
